Web Hosting Help Desk Support Position

This is a part-time (20-24 hours / week) position with an opportunity for full-time employment. You will be providing technical support and customer service to our clients by assisting them with web hosting plans and services.

    To be successful in this role you will require the following:
  • Technical diploma or equivalent
  • Strong client service skills (1 year call centre tech support experience is an asset)
  • Knowledge of cPanel, Plesk or similar hosting applications
  • Experience with web hosting and understanding of hosting technology
  • Knowledge of FTP, DNS, cPanel and WHM preferred
  • A good working knowledge of HTML and some CSS, hand coding HTML knowledge is essential with at least 1 years experience.
  • Experience with documenting procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
  • Ability to multitask
Your job duties will include:
  • Front line support via phone, live chat and email
  • Troubleshoot basic web hosting, email and technical issues as required
  • Usage of the support ticket system
  • Resolving client inquiries in a timely manner
  • Performing miscellaneous other job-related duties as assigned
